What is an Indigent Patient Transport Program? Air Trek’s Indigent Patient Transport Program (IPTP) is a free program designed to provide your facility with an option for the transport of your unfunded patients. Similar to the commercial airlines’ frequent-flyer programs, this allows your facility to earn mileage credits for every flight completed.

A question we are asked more times than not is: “How much notice do you need for a flight?” To put it simply… we appreciate having 24 hours notice in order to allow us and you time to get everything in order. However, many times we are able to get a flight out in about 2-3 hours!

Your facilities are getting full and the patients and families are wanting to get back home. What do you do now? Call Air Trek! Air Trek’s aircraft are fully equipped and staffed to function as flying critical care units – allowing us to provide the best care for your patients. We differ from other air ambulance services in that we own and maintain the aircraft enabling us to have direct operational control over all aspects of the patient’s transport.

Air Trek spends many months of the year transporting those who fall ill during their winter journey south back to their northern homes. However, there are many cases in which we bring northern clients south to either be with loved ones, or to move them to a different level of care.
