Surrounded by Family and Friends
“My husband was dying and we had hospice at our home to help care for him.Because of your wonderful ambulance transport he was able to spend 2 1/2 weeks at home surrounded by his loving family and friends. After spending 4 months in the hospital in Florida he was so happy to come home to Massachusetts.
The pilot and two medics on our flight couldn’t have been nicer.I wasnervous and they chatted and made me feel more relaxed. The medics were so good with my husband.Your paramedic was very friendly and answered all of my questions.I have already given your card to someone looking to med-flight a friends home to New Jersey.
I thank you for bringing him home.”
Sincerely, Patient’s Wife
Behind every memorable moment is a company and systems set in place to make sure that patient transports worldwide are carried out as planned. Air Trek’s foundation consists of a 36-year-old, family business with a formula for success that has remained the same for years: Focus on being safety-centered while providing the ultimate in patient care.
Snowbird Season is on Its Way!
It’s that time of year again where the snowbirds head south and flock to warmer weather.Make sure to keep Air Trek in mind for transporting your patients via Air Ambulance or Commercial Airline Medical Escort!
Air Trek owns and operates seven aircraft including pressurized twin engine aircraft, Citation jets, and a Westwind II jet. Each aircraft is fully equipped and staffed to function as a flying critical care unit allowing us to provide the best care for our patients. Two of these aircraft have dual stretcher patient transport capabilities. Should a co-worker or another facility have a patient traveling to your patient’s destination, this can be an economical means for cost sharing the transport.
Air Trek differs from other Air Ambulance services in that we own the aircraft, which enables us to have direct operational control of all aspects of the patient’s transport. The patient’s family, friends, and pets may also travel aboard the aircraft at no additional charge, pending the availability of seats. Air Trek’s Flight Coordinators can explain the different seating capabilities for each individual aircraft – then design a personalized and specific plan to meet the transport needs for the patient and their family members.
Additionally, Air Trek offers Commercial Airline Medical Escort services. This is a service that Air Trek has in place to meet international and long distance transportation needs of your stable patients who do not require specialized air ambulance services. This program provides aeromedically trained medical personnel to accompany and care for your patient aboard a commercial airline. The goal is to make this transport from your facility to anywhere in the world a worry-free process for you, your patient, and their family.
For aircraft availability or to receive more information on the numerous medical transportation options that we provide, contact the Air Trek Operations Center at 1-800-MED-JETS (1-800-633-5387) or visit us at www.medjets.com.
