Air Trek Air Ambulance Westwind Jet Aircraft
The Westwind pressurized aircraft, utilizes two pilots and can accommodate one or two stretcher patients, up to four family members, the medical team and multiple suitcases. This aircraft is used to transport any patient requiring in-flight critical care. The Westwind is used for a variety of patient conditions and due to its overall larger cabin and faster speeds is ideal for those patients who are critical, unstable, ventilator dependant, and/or requires numerous intravenous medications. Advantages include speed, larger cabin space for extra family members, luggage and the ability to simultaneously transport two stretcher patients. With its long range-transcontinental fuel capacity, this aircraft is ideal for long distance or international flights.
The aircraft is equipped with Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
